Press Release - Mobile Research Launches DeviceTrack Service

(Seattle)- May 13, 2009 - Mobile Research, a provider of mobile device data, tools, and testing, today launched DeviceTrack, a subscription service for tracking mobile devices in the market. DeviceTrack provides information about the mobile devices in the marketplace, allowing users to view device availability, device attributes, as well as search, sort, and view reports based on the user's device criteria. One of the key features of the service is report notifications. Subcribers may use DeviceTrack to create their own reports based on the device criteria of their product, and get notified when new devices are released that match that criteria.

DeviceTrack is supported by Mobile Research's staff of researchers and is updated weekly with data from the twenty top network operators in North America, with support for the UK market to come in the next few months.

"We've had a lot of requests from our customers for data with respect to what devices are currently in the market at any given time." said David Adams, Mobile Research's founder and CEO.

"This device availability and capability data is great competitive analysis for OEMs and network operators, but it also give mobile application developers insight into which devices, on which network operators support their products. Device fragmentation is one of the largest constraints on a mobile product's addressable market."

"What our customers are finding out is, with the number of devices and the churn rate, if you wait to find out what devices get popular, you've waited to long. You have to target device them based on network operator, platform, feature, etc." he added.

Mobile Research, founded in 2004, is a premier provider of mobile device data and device certification testing service
